Seniors All-Candidates Forum on Monday November 10th at the Desert Gardens Centre from noon to 1:15pm
Kamloops This Week, CFJC TV News, and Kamloops CBC Radio have teamed up to present a civic-election forum and open house on Thursday, Nov. 13, at the Sagebrush Theatre. The forum and open house will start at 7pm and will feature a format that is different from past media-sponsored forums. There will be three sections:
1. The four mayoral candidates will take questions from members of the media, with the Q&A facilitated by a moderator. Concurrently, the 28 council candidates will have tables set up in the theatre lobby, on which they can display campaign materials and meet and greet those in attendance.
2. Following the media/mayoral candidates Q&A, there will be a break, allowing the public an opportunity to informally chat with council and mayoral candidates.
3. Back in the theatre, the four mayoral candidates will take questions from members of the public, with the Q&A facilitated by a moderator.
PLEASE NOTE ... I am delighted to join Jim Harrison of CHNL, as his guest, on Wednesday Oct 29th from 9:35am to 10am. Tune in to 610am on the radio dial.
I'm Peter Sharp, Kamloops City Council candidate.
